Banyan Tree

On the hike to Waimoku Falls. Difficult exposure! The banyan tree, native to India, is enormous. It puts forth roots, which form secondary trunks to support the long limbs. Older trees can reach more than 200 meters in diameter, with a height of 30 meters.
